The 25th Anniversary of TQEH Research Day was a great success!
The 25th Anniversary of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital's annual Research Day was a great success, with excellent presentations by all student speakers and a thought-provoking and engaging talk from CEO of the NHMRC by Professor Anne Kelso AO. Anne summarised the state of medical research in Australia, the current NHMRC Strategic Review, and briefly spoke of the benefits that should eventuate from the Medical Research Future Fund. She also offered some words of wisdom to current postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers considering a research career.
