High Commissioner of the Republic of Botswana visits the Virology Group
The High Commissioner of the Republic of Botswana, His Excellency Mr Lapologang Caesar Lekoa requested meetings with medical researchers during his two day visit to South Australia. Botswana has the third highest prevalence of HIV in the world, so visiting Professor Eric Gowans at the Basil Hetzel Institute, TQEH, provided an excellent opportunity for him to learn about research into developing vaccines for HIV and Hepatitis C.
