Speaker Biography: Emily has a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Science, and an Honours degree in Pharmacology from the University of Adelaide. She is currently a PhD (Medicine) student at the University of Adelaide and a clinical research assistant in Cardiology at the Lyell McEwin Hospital. Working with A/Prof Margaret Arstall in the Northern Cardiovascular Research Group, Emily coordinates a number of research projects across both Cardiology and Obstetrics focusing on the management of coronary heart disease, heart disorders during pregnancy, and heart disease in women. Emily is committed to performing quality multidisciplinary research focused on improving patient outcomes.
