Research Day

In 2013, TQEH Research Day will be held on Friday 18 October.

The annual TQEH Research Day provides researchers in training the opportunity to gain valuable experience in delivering an oral or poster presentation before a broad audience.

The work presented must have been substantially undertaken at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and not have been previously presented at Research Day.

Prizes of $1000 will be awarded in the following oral categories:

• Basic Science - Honours Students
• Basic Science - Higher Degrees Junior
• Basic Science - Higher Degrees Senior
• Clinical Research - Higher Degrees and Registrars

A Prize of $500 will be offered for the:

• Poster Prize

A Prize of $300 will be offered for the:

• Best Lay Description (100 words maximum)

Monday 26 August 2013 - 5pm deadline. No late Abstracts will be accepted.

Poster Session
Depending on the number of Abstracts received a seperate poster session may be held prior to Research Day to shortlist applicants.

Please note: The Abstract Submission Form must be completed in conjunction with the Abstract Guidelines document available below.
Failure to comply will deem the submission ineligible.

Updated Abstract guidelines, coversheet and submission templates will be uploaded in June 2013.

Award Winners will be announced at Research Day on Friday 18 October 2013 with details uploaded to this site shortly after.
