The Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research offers a limited number of Postgraduate Scholarships, funded through The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF).

In addition to the 12 Month THRF Postgraduate Scholarships that are open to medical and science graduates enrolling in a higher degree, in 2019 there will also be a new category of Postgraduate Top-Up Scholarships for graduates with a non-medical background who are enrolling in a higher degree AND who have been awarded a fully-funded external scholarship.

Stipend: equivalent to Research Training Program (RTP) rate (in the vicinity of $28,000 for full-time students)

Duration: 12 months initially

Stipend: up to $10,000 per year for 3 years (PhD program) or 2 years (Masters program)

Eligibility: open to Domestic students only, who have been awarded a fully-funded external scholarship.
