Speaker biography: Viviane de Menezes Caceres is a Brazilian physiotherapist. MSc and PhD in physiology and pharmacology, respectively. Postdoctoral expertise in molecular physiology of the cardiovascular system and cardiovascular epidemiology, specialist in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, and professional education. She has supervised and co-supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students (Physiotherapy). In 2013, she started working at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC-Brazil) as a Senior Lecturer and Lecturer/Researcher Associate at Post-Graduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences, Department of Health Sciences (UFSC). Her current interests include lecturing, research in experimental and clinical cardiology, translational cardiovascular research, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases treatment and prevention, cardiovascular epidemiology.
