Speaker: Dr Preethi Eldi, Research Associate, Experimental Therapeutics Laboratory, University of South Australia
Biography: Dr Preethi Eldi is a post-doctoral Research Associate with the Experimental Therapeutics laboratory based at the Division of Health Sciences, UniSA. Her PhD studies in viral immunology at the John Curtin School of Medical Research focused on understanding the key immune parameters that are critical for inducing potent and durable humoral immune responses in orthopoxvirus infection models. Her research interests lie in the field of host-pathogen interactions and vaccine development.
Chair: Dr Dan Wijesundara, THRF ECR Fellow, Virology Laboratory, University of Adelaide, Discipline of Surgery, Level 1 Basil Hetzel Institute
