Ash HopkinsSpeaker: Dr Ash Hopkins, National Breast Cancer Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow, Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer, College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University

Title: Identifying precision use strategies for anticancer medicines through the pooled analysis of open source clinical trial data

Chair: Associate Professor Benedetta Sallustio, Principal Medical Scientist, Clinical Pharmacology Research Group, University of Adelaide and BHI, TQEH.

Speaker biography: Dr Ash Hopkins, is a Pharmacist who obtained his PhD in 2016, specializing in pharmacology and pharmacometrics. He was awarded a 2017 National Breast Cancer Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship based at the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer (FCIC), Flinders University. He is a motivated early career researcher with emerging expertise and leadership skills in the utilization of big data and precision analytic techniques. His research focus is the utilization of precision analytics to improve the use of medicines in the treatment of advanced cancers, and to facilitate informed decision making by advanced cancer patients considering therapies
