The Lady Tata Memorial Trust invites applications for its international awards. These support individuals conducting leukaemia research, restricted to studies of the leukaemogenic agents, the epidemiology, pathogenesis, immunology and genetic basis of leukaemia and related diseases.
FUNDING AND DURATION
Awards are tenable for one year; exceptionally, an award for a second year may be made. Each award is typically worth between £25,000 and £35,000 (approx. AUD $43,000 and $61,000) per year.
In addition, one or more master of philosophy or PhD studentships may be granted, normally for two years with renewal possible for a third year on the basis of the eighteen-month progress report.
Awards are open to qualified investigators of any nationality. Priority is given to those intending to move to other centres with a view to establishing scientific collaboration between laboratories.
