Dr Faye Whan completed a PhD in environmental chemistry at The University of Adelaide in 2016, in collaboration with the Australian Water Quality Research Centre of SA Water and Water Research Australia. She spent several years performing method development for the analysis of environmental toxins and other contaminants produced by cyanobacteria in drinking water. She started working with the Therapeutics Research Centre in 2021, with a focus on developing LCMS assays [LCMS, Liquid chromatography mass spectrometry].
