Wendy is a hospital medical scientist, BSc(Hons), based in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She has worked in the Gastroenterology laboratory since 1990 with projects focusing on colorectal cancer (CRC) and inflammatory bowel disease. She has also managed the laboratory and supervised students.

Wendy is currently working with Associate Professor Joanne Young in the Department of Haematology and Oncology, TQEH, on a project assessing the increased risk of people aged under 50 years in developing advanced neoplasia or CRC including those with dysplastic serrated polyps.
