The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) campus, of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) on Woodville Road, Woodville South, has a substantial research base, with a large number of University Department and Hospital Unit research arms forming the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research (BHI).
Through its teaching and research affiliation with The University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia (UniSA), TQEH provides valuable basic and clinical research training opportunities at its site. Well-equipped laboratories in a modern research facility and an active honours student population provide a stimulating environment for further studies.
The Honours Research Scholarship scheme, part of a wider Scholarship program at TQEH, is overseen by The Institute (BHI) Policy Committee.
The Scholarship program is made possible through the valuable and continuing support of The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) and research departments on TQEH campus.
