The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) offers a limited number of Postgraduate Scholarships to students based at the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research (BHI), which is located at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH).
A new round will open in mid-September 2019, for students commencing in 2020. Further information will be placed on THRF’s website, with applications to go through their SmartyGrants process (read more about this here).
In addition to the 12 month THRF Postgraduate Scholarships that are open to medical and science graduates enrolling in a higher degree, graduates with a non-medical background who are enrolling in a higher degree AND who have been awarded a fully-funded external scholarship will be able to apply for a Postgraduate Top-Up Scholarship. International students, including those with a medical background, are also able to apply for Postgraduate Top-Up Scholarships.
