A limited number of Vacation Scholarships are available at the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research over the University summer holidays.
The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) Vacation Scholarship Scheme is designed for undergraduate students with research promise to gain research experience under the supervision of a staff member of The University of Adelaide or University of South Australia or a TQEH staff member affiliated with one of the Universities.
Scholarships are for the full-time equivalent of a minimum of six weeks and a maximum of eight weeks. Half the funding is from THRF with the other half from the host department. Students can negotiate with the supervisor to complete some of the scholarship part-time. To be eligible, students must have completed at least two years of their course.
Stipend: maximum $1,600 ($200 per week for 8 weeks)
Duration: minimum 6 weeks – maximum 8 weeks
