With thanks to The Hospital Research Foundation Group, we are pleased to open the BHI Conference Support Grants for 2024. This year we are trying something different, so please take care with your applications as we will not consider applications that do not comply with all requirements.
Especially ensure that you comply with application timing requirements outlined below AND all of the eligibility criteria within section 3 of the guidelines including all application requirements (eg a signed notification to travel (or equivalent for CALHN/UniSA members) and provide your airfare/accommodation/registration receipts to confirm expenditure), otherwise your application will not be considered. I have included the notification to travel form here FYI.
Key differences:
- Applications for support are to be made after conference participation has been completed; AND
- Must be lodged within the appropriate assessment cycle corresponding to the conference’s end date:
- For travel between 1 Jan – 30 April – LODGE your application BEFORE 31 May 2024
- For travel between 1 May – 31 August – LODGE your application BEFORE 30 September 2024
- For travel between 1 September – 31 December – LODGE your application BEFORE 31 January 2025
- Application must contain all of the requested information
- Reimbursement will be to your cost-centre (not to individuals) and is capped at $750 for local/national or $2500 for international conferences. You are eligible for support only 1X during a calendar year.
