Dr Nigel Quadros, BSc Hons, BMBS (Flinds), PhD (Flinds), FAFRM (RACP), is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (RACP) and works as a Senior Rehabilitation Medicine Physician in Central Adelaide Local Health Network which is affiliated with The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Royal Adelaide hospital and Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre. He is also a Senior Clinical Lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at The University of Adelaide where he is involved in both undergraduate and post graduate medical teaching. His clinical interests are mainly in stroke and general neurological rehabilitation. His special interest is in assessment and management of people with late effects of polio and he has been conducting a medical post-polio clinic at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital since 2005. His research area currently involves studying the functional decline in ageing polio survivors where he is working with Dr Kandiah Umapathysivam and Professor Renuka Visvanathan.
