Laura is a research dietitian, undertaking research on diet and inflammatory bowel disease. She completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (First Class Honours) in 2022, awarded a University Medal for outstanding academic achievement.
Currently, she has been investigating the habitual dietary intakes of people with ulcerative colitis undertaking microbial-modulating therapies and is involved in a randomised controlled diet trial for ulcerative colitis lead by Alice Day. Laura is also working as a clinical dietitian with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network.
