Dean’s Commendation awarded to Dr Katharina Richter

Congratulations to Dr Katharina Richter for being awarded a Dean’s Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence from the University of Adelaide. Katharina completed her PhD thesis entitled “Towards novel antibiofilm strategies” under the supervision Associate Professor Sarah Vreugde and Professor PJ Wormald in the ENT Surgery research group at the Basil Hetzel Institute, TQEH and with Professor Clive Prestidge in the School of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences at the University of South Australia as her external supervisor. Katharina is now working as a postdoctoral researcher in a collaborative project, funded by The Hospital Research Foundation, between ENT Surgery, Prof Clive Prestidge and Dr Nicky Thomas at the Adelaide Biofilm Test Facility.
