An article in The Advertiser, describes a potential new treatment for neuroendocrine cancers using a red chemical dye, called Rose Bengal that was originally used to turn wool and food bright red! Professor Tim Price, an oncologist at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, heads up the Clinical Trials Group as well as being the research leader of the Colorectal Cancer Research Group at the Basil Hetzel Institute.
