Dr Bill Panagopoulos is a finalist in the ASMR Ross Wishart Memorial Award
Congratulations to Dr Bill Panagopoulos, from the Breast Cancer Research Unit at the Basil Hetzel Institute, for being selected as one of four finalists in the Ross Wishart Memorial Award which will be presented tomorrow at the Australian Society for Medical Research (ASMR) meeting in Adelaide. Last night, Bill, together with the three other finalists, gave short presentations about their research to those attending the ASMR Gala Dinner which was held at the Adelaide Pavilion. A table of 10 postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers from the Basil Hetzel Institute attended the dinner thanks to generous sponsorship from The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF). These ASMR events take place in Adelaide during Medical Research Week which is celebrated in the first week of June.
